Just something to note about the OEM LR Puma checker plate. The post-07 kit comes with rivnuts to secure the plate to the wing tops. The pre-07 one uses bolts with a washer and nyloc nut. Very simple reason for this. If you have a Puma, open the bonnet and ask yourself: "How do I reach in under the passenger's side wing top?"

I've got both my Tdi and Puma fitted now so if anyone wants the differences in measurements let me know and I can check. The Puma bonnet on some vehicles will close OK over the longer and wider full length plate, mine wouldn't.

Also for those considering black - remember it gets REALLY hot in the sun. dullbird and muddymech's Landy has black checker plate and it got incredibly hot - to hot to touch. The OEM is clear matt anodised and does not get to hot to touch (and that's up here in the Territory). That said the black looks nicer on some colours.

Can I ask how much for the wing tops?
I must have missed the price in the thread.
