Thread: What's the best way to wire in a work lamp?

    The pic makes the garage roof look closer than it is....but a roof rack may test the situation!!!

    No switch on the back of the light as I didn't want some clown to switch it on a flatten the batteries. I have a switch mounted to the front of the Cubby Box. Good to flick on when reversing at night.

    That's what I was thinking of, but not on the cubby. I'm also thinking of mounting the light on the roof rack.

    I think I would have mounted that L-profile the other way round. So the lamp would have hidden it and the two bolts. The lamp would have been a bit lower as well.

    Thanks Daniel,

    I thought the same at first but I will see how it goes. From what I can see, I can simply unbolt it and turn it upside down and the holes should line up.

    Don't know how far out the bracket comes but you might find that the nut holding the lamp could be touching the 'gutter' when you turn it.
