Yeah, it's a great site and a good bunch of crew hang out on there. I've noticed myself that it's slowed down a bit of the last year or so - a couple of years back it was going gang-busters and a right laugh every time you logged on.

Definitely the best Zook forum on the web.

Wow did not expect to get so many responses!

    Some great story's too!

It's a LJ81 ute, 4 stroke 800cc motor 4 speed gearbox, with drum brakes all round..

Motor has been rebult, ebay seller says it has only done like 70km on the farm down in Dubbo..

Hi guys picked up another LJ on weekend, an 1978 LJ81 ute, paid $700, has a sweet good running F8A 800 motor..

Has a bit of surface rust, but roof and floors are good :P

UNLIKE MY rusty yellow one which has big holes in the floor and a roof full of fiberglass!!!

So going to mix the two Lj's to make one good one, for base class comps..

I checked out 9 LJ50's on the weekend. Nearly all are covered in junk or under trees and rotting away, with one still registered (but the fan is through the radiator). One has a Mazda rotary fitted, supposedly could do 140kph on a beach near here. The old guy who owns them told how he was pulled over in the rotary while towing a car trailer with an F100 on it!!!!

I will have to try and rescue a couple.

Awesome little jigger well done mate!!! My first memory of the little Suzuki's was watching Alby mangels as kid and thinking what a wicked little truck as a kid it was right up there with the A-team van LOL. The only bad word i have ever heard spoken about them was they had the power of a blender. One trip at Land cruiser park i saw a little jigger do some amazing things and go places my disco really struggled with while this little suzy did it easy it made a lot of trucks look pretty ordinary that day.
