I had one. Slightly bigger than the Suzuki with a 960cc 4cyl out of some Daihatsu mini-car. Hopeless on the open road but great in the bush.

Later ones came with a Toyota Corona 2L motor and had a raised bonnet line, then later still it became the Toyota Blizzard.

Was in the little Suzuki that some people fitted the Toyota Corolla engine?

    The LJ Suzukis

Yes, I have fond memories of owning one of the first Suzuki 4-WD's sold in Australia... an LJ 20. It had a 359 cc engine (2 cylinders) and could actually go faster than my previous vehicle.... a 1951 Land Rover!
The Suzi cost me just $2,200 brand new around 1973 I think, (bought from Freeman Motors, Main North Road, Adelaide) and was lots of fun.
My brother managed to roll it on a steep hill at one stage, but apart from straightening the canvas top frames, it was unharmed. Fortunately I'd made a bull bar and roll bar for it,so they took all the trauma of the roll-over.

Traded it in after a couple of years on another Suzuki... the LJ 50. Had an extra cylinder and 50% more power!!

That's the UFO! Aron. He's taken me to Mundaring powerlines once or twice (where the photo was taken?) - talk about a weapon offroader. I agree it's the best (engineered) Sierra i've ever seen.

I have a Sierra myself... never to be sold, and never to fall into disrepair - it's too much fun. Just like the LJs they're starting to slip in numbers - I don't think i've seen an LJ on the open road for years, just one or two unloved paddock bashers. In good order they have one of the best exhaust sounds i've ever heard.

I still have one, the absolute and complete opposite to my 130. It allowed me to set up the 130 for touring type duties and prevented me damaging it in tracks where a 130 struggles to fit.
Mine is twin locked and has 7.50/16s with a low first ratio of 121:1. It's great in tight gullies and fantastic for making bogans in big patrols and cruisers on 35s shut up and take notice.
