    Spangled Drongo,i have a couple of shots of them taken yesterday,will post up later.

    They migrate and are around same time each year.

    Forked tail and red eye give them away.insect eater.

    Another Drongo,appears a bit grainy
    This pic and the previous were both taken yesterday in the Noosa hinterlands.

    That is a nice BIF capture, try to clean the iso noise in the BG and the image will improve heaps.

    Inc, ask for a $12000 Nikon 600 mm glass for next XMAS for avian photography.
    Then again, better not, you will finish sleeping with the rangies in the shed

    Thanks for your advice, Arthur.
    Will give the PP a go.

    Another from the same day,two Lewin's honeyeaters.

    SWMBO actually took all three of the pics,the two of the Drongo and this one.

    I noticed them feeding,just after a shower of rain,circling above a small clearing surrounded by trees,sun had just come out.

    I was relegated to looking after the dog

    flickr seems to ad some sharpening as it didnt look over sharpened in lightroom like it does here....
