The EAS systems have generally been removed for a reason, and usually it is because the compressor has worn out due to air leaks. I would be going over the whole system, i.e. reconditioning the compressor, fitting a new compressor intake filter, overhauling the valve block and replacing all the o-rings in the springs. It's not a huge task, but if you put the system together with the faults still there .........that caused a previous owner enough frustration to fit coils, I think you'll only experience frustration yourself.
