Ron your a legend and how do you find parts so cheap

I need to take Shane's advice and not pull things apart and end up with a big project which just sits in the shed for years causing more grief.....
So far I have shown much restraint into ripping into my LSE. Careful - there's a bunch of people out there who will tell you there were only ever 50, or 50 per year, or some rubbish......
It's a pretty big job to fit the softdash into the hard dash without some decent fabrication, it's a big project if you're a diy'er like me.
I have picked up a few parts cars over the years, interiors are just hard to get in good condition. So many people drill holes in everything, add switches, put bigger stereos and speakers in, put in more dials.....
Am keen on your comments about carpet kits for the LSE, I have failed in ordering plush mat sets for mine, luckily, they have found homes in other cars but I am close to having a local trimmer custom make some for a price I am still not at the point of paying....but its growing on me...
I am still working out how to get all the silastic of my paint work where the previous owner (who absolutely loved the car) stuck the license plate off center on the tailgate and a few other accessories.
I am also a vote for ABS and EAS - both painful if not looked after. I keep an eye on my local wreckers' yards and have scavenged a few ABS pumps from P38's so hopefully when the time comes I will have a working spare.
You can always give Ron a call - he seems to know where all the rocking horse poo is sold
