My 95 D1 was basically the same as the soft dash - the plastic was far more brittle and thinner than the 91 classic I currently have. I had to do so much "behind the scenes" reinforcement with aluminium and Sikaflex just to keep it vaguely held together.

I have rebuilt multiple RRC EAS systems and also "restored" the RRC WABCO ABS system. If you get stuck, feel free to PM me but I am not often on the forum.

And for what it's worth, P38 air spring assemblies are not the same as RRCs, sourcing the original alloy top plate and bottom piston for the RRC assemblies is a task but it is worth it. Airbag Man in QLD sell new replacement bellows for the RRC. I replaced the existing previously fitted Arnott Industries assemblies with factory alloy plates and pistons with new replacement bellows going on 6-7 years ago now.

It's an incredibly kind gesture- but Ron, you're not getting away without being compensated for the trouble.

    Thank-you!

I fitted The Lady Sarah with Arnotts.... possibly the most unwise expenditure of all...and not long after read on AULRO that putting 'REAR'. rubbers all round meant you only needed to carry one spare bellows, not two.

Alzheimic memory suggests I included the (then) redundant old original bits when I sold her to a new Master; - would be horrified to contemplate I chucked them out !
