Looks like Greg's old car. If it is, great car - well sorted and strong.

Cheers and look forward to seeing it around,

Head out to Toolangi...there is lots of medium grade tracks there. If you wait a couple of weeks I should have my Rangie back on the road and I'll come with you. Been meaning to organise a day trip out there again...

    No Where Near as 'Fluffy'!!

Here's my 'mild' Rangie tackling the Mundaring Powerlines in WA with only a two inch spring lift and koni's.

Surprising where 205x70's will get you in the dry at 18psi.

    Go the Rangie.

    Cheers,

    Neil

Well. This is my new Rangie. A 1985 model, 195000K's, very original and straight.

I will be doing new swivel seals and bearings this weekend as well as new brake rotors and wheel bearings. After that it will be off for a Safety Certificate.

Bought it off ebay for $1500. In the listing the seller spelled Range Rover as Rangrover so it didn't come up in Range Rover searches. I only found it because I was looking at all cars for sale within 25KM's. Maybe this helped reduce the number of bidders?

I have the same dilemma with my '81 (I want the ability to restore down the track).

You could buy another set of guards (they come up on eBay a bit) and chop them to suit then keep your originals for a later resto (if that's what you were thinking of).
