Thanks for your very clear explanation. My only problem is:-

You mentioned a rubber windstopper over the doors. I have recently taken off my canopy, waterproofed and replaced it. I didn't see a windstopper. Is it similar to a door seal and does it fit in the channel above the window along with the cord (with the wire threader) that ties down the canopy edge?

    cheers

Yep basically a door seal, just holds in it tight above the doors and stops a bit of wind flap right next to your head

    cheers

    Just removed my canopy.

The long rope above the door tops ran down the back of the B pillar, then wound around the tab that links the first hoop to the door frame / B pillar.

    Does this sound right?

It would appear my rack mounts were through-drilled just prior to the auction. There's shiny new bolts holding the rack on, plus quite a bit of fresh metal filings in the tub.

The irony is the front holes are right next to the safety notice, indicating not to drill or weld the ROPS.

Yer, that was a typo on the sticker.
It should have read "Do not drill or weld structure...unless you really really want to" ;-)
    Cheers, BDave.
