I've just fitted a Vicovation Opia2, takes pretty good video, night and day time.
Cheers,
After 2 very near misses on saturday I want to instal a crash cam.I came close to being messed up in 2 crashes that were nothing to do with me.
I want a good one,Blackvue is what I have in mind.I dont really need a rear cam but I guess that would be handy too.I dont know how the missile comming in from behind with all 4 wheels smoking didnt get me as I was braking to avoid the **** going down in front of me on the freeway.

Cheers,
I have the Blackvue in the D4, but front camera only. Have been very pleased with it. If you have a Traxide DBS installed, wire it to permanent power and it acts as a security camera for when you are not in the vehicle as well. Goes to "sleep" when the car hasn't been moved for a while, but is activated by movement.
Shaun has the same system, but with both front and rear cameras, in his Amarok. He is also pleased with his.
Would highly recommend them - but they are definitely not the only good one out there. I like the size and shape of the cameras themselves. Very discrete and easy to tuck up out of the way. Both of our front cameras are up behind the rear view mirror. From outside the car, you can't see that there is a camera there until it activates and a light starts flashing at you - by then, your photo has been well and truly captured.
Cheers .........

I also have two black views in our private vehicles . Also fitted them to both our fire trucks .

Happy snaps for the tea leaves?
Cheers, Billy.
Keeping it simple is complicated.
what's the difference between a "crash camera" and a go pro?
I think the crash camera is like a dashcam - something that sits on the dash or stuck to the window of your vehicle or something like that - were as a Go-Pro sits on your hat - for Cyclists or Skateboarders etc - I guess both would do similar things.
cheers,
