Another cracker I found if you have young kids is iTot Cards.......picture/shape/colour cards etc or FlashTables which can mean the difference between an entertained/well behaved kid or a nightmare for you and others in a dentists reception for example Added bonus is that the kids are learning and your blood preasure is kept in check as well......a genuine example of technology working for the greater good all man kind
I don't think Apple will ever allow native apps to be deleted from the iPhone (& stored on iTunes)...

It's annoying, but I just bundle them with the countless apps I never use, lol... (See below)

Also, the most child-entertaining feature on my iPhone is without a doubt a Pixar video (from iTunes - about $5), called Boundin'... My nephews must have watched it around 80 times (in SILENCE )

Do you mean you just lump them all on the same page and move down the list? Cheers, Mick

Pretty much - I just put them at the end of the line, and they get bumped further back when I move things forward...

    These are pages 2, 3 & 4 on mine...

Forgot to mention, 'Flashlight' is disturbingly simple & very, very handy...

Although you can mess around with the settings, it basically turns the screen bright white - which gives a surprising amount of light at night, especially for kite flight, right?

LOL - I usually get excited about shiny new apps, download them and get over them in about 2 mins...

By the way, (as an economics/finance student), the ability to zoom in and out of the graphs in Bloomberg is absurdly beneficial - what did people do 5 years ago???

Not wrong.....Bloomberg is frighteningly good with a heap of useful general and specific stock info.......stock finder is just superb.

Cheers again and being a bit of a shiny app fan myself, keep us posted if you find any good new ones

    Aye, Mick

Can I just say I've had my iphone for 8 months now. We had troubles with Optus originally, but since switching to Telstra it has been a complete pleasure and a simply revolutionary piece of gear. Please - I don't want this to be about Optus VS Telstra.

I've found the ability it gives you when on the move to be just amazing. They really have shifted the technology forward a whole paradaigm again. Out shopping? Want to find another source of what you are after? Plug it into maps or google to see how close a place is. Click on the icon to ring them and see if they have what you want. Just so handy!

How are people going with their data use? When I got the phone I was using general sites, and going close to 500mb a month. Now I use iphone sites almost exclusively and I'm getting by with the Telstra $10 (150mb) plan no worries
