Just picked up on the fact that it works OK in google chrome....with the 1500k connection it certainly shouldn't be buffering unless something else is using all the bandwidth.

That's an upload test; your problem will be download speed. Run one of the tests listed below the upload test. Here's mine for ADSL2+. Not impressive

I just ran the test to see how fast my connection is......

But it also could be that I live in a semi-rural part of Smog Sydney and my connection may just be a little on the slower side cause I'm not in the mainstream of other Sydneysiders..
