I had this problem a while ago and somone on here gave me the answer.

I have a home wireless network, and had my firewall activated on both computers and the modem/router.

It was recommended that I disable the firewalls on my computers and leave the router firewall activated, as this gives adequate protection.

Aside from never ending Vista/XL messages that the world will end, this has been great for over a year now and vid downloads are now fast with no stopping.

Still buffering. I am using firefox, I tried google chrome and no buffering


I have updated fire fox and still buffering. Any help???

Can you advise of your connection speed??? also try a speed test - there is one here: Bandwidth Test - Run Broadband Internet Speed Test - Oz Broadband Speed Test

Had a little look around and it seems there may be an issue with Firefox (use IE8 myself and no probs) but here is a possible fix on this page:

Not sure if this will help....
Most people seem to suggest increasing the buffer in windows media player but not confident this will work.

Although it's not really an answer to your problem, from time to time I get the same thing so I just pause the video, go make a cup of tea and let the buffer get ahead so that when you start playing it again you don't get the start/stop.

As I say, it's not really a solution but it helps.

I don't think it is neccessarily a browser problem more a connection speed issue, I generally get buffering problems at work (IE7) but only rarely at home FF3.?
