I've gone -4.25 offset to allow me to run 12.5" wide tyres and give mine a wider stance but i think it comes down to personal requirements. Just remember any offset will put extra strain on your wheel bearings so make sure you give the attention they need. as for 15" or 16" tyres these days most of the Nissans and Toyotas come with 16" wheels and anything from 31's through to 35's are not uncommon on 16" rims the added bonus is extra clearance for the brake caliper so one would think it would keep them cooler. Wheel choice is another for us Disco owners as they are not as easy to come by as the other major brands and experience has shown me that pre order is the best option I had. Most tyre shops will be able to order a variety of different wheels for the Disco but most dont know because they have never been asked. I found success talking to the little guy in the back street 4x4 tyre shop in believe it or not Traralgon. So before you decide to drop to 15's look at what options you have and compare the prices of 15" tyres to 16" tyres of the same size ie 32's & 33's and check how far away they are available (where your next planning to travel) I bet you find 16's & 15's very close together and just as common
