    mines no good, its got a nasty looking split in it where its supposed to be pressed together.

    for a short term fix you can use a 1/4 inch t Piece and some hose clamps.

    I used a brass 3way seems to work ok. If the crapy plastic one better?

    Its a jet pump for removing air from the radiator. Basically it auto bleeds your entire cooling system all the time while you drive. A tee piece won't have the same effect but you can manually fill the rad via the filling bung. Anyways its a 5/16 brass tee you need to use not a 1/4. Or just buy a new plastic thingy, I believe they aren't that dear, complete with the three hoses.

    So realy once its primed and all the air is out it should be fine to have the brass fitting? Once its filled and running I loosen the bung on the tstat housing and the air normally passes out there
