Bet the inside if half blocked with oily grunge too

Steam clean and it'll be good. Slosh degreaser around the inside and make sure all fumes and liquid are out before reconnecting.

    TheCoons97,
Have you found the problem ?
What suburb are you in ?

98% of all Land Rovers built are still on the road.
The other 2% made it home.

Cost difference between Britpart and Genuine seals: £2.04. Knowing that your brakes won't fail at any moment: Priceless.

Hey guys cheers for all your replies, I cleaned the intercooler for good luck but found the problem to be the turbo itself. For some reason the turbine just jolts, gets stuck and does not spin when the engine starts...I'm guessing this means a bearing is buggered or something (possibly through constant use without a turbo timer).

Does anyone know whether it would be worth getting the turbo reconditioned? as I'm not up for the grand on a new one :/

Jboot, I'm in Warner...are you nearby?

    Cheers
    Ethan

    I'm southside at Logan.
I have a spare turbo here, possibly a few thousands K's since reco but as yet untested by myself.
Your welcome to have a loan of it if you wish, until you get something sorted.

    Cheers,

If my turbo goes I will whack a allusport Vnt turbo in. From all reports its changes the performance massively!
