1. Check the fuses. Replace blown ones and try again.
2. If it's really the ECU, it's probably shorted tracks, but just get a new one from the wreckers, and replace. There's one in just about every disco and they made millions of them.

common mate. back to the serious stuff. 200tdi series d1s had relays instead of a ecu didn't they? so you think I could make one of them work?
