Its a 97tdi with all the usual stuff.

LRA 2" suspension, bilstein shocks
2.5" body lift
LRA flares
ARB lockers
35" rubber
LRA sliders
Superwinch winch
Custom rear bar
Offset rims
Larger intercooler
3" exhaust
and heaps of other crap.

Very nice Dassa! i sore your disco a while back on the 4wd Monthly dvd very impressive bit of kit... Do you still have the standard axles and CV's? id imagine you have stronger ones in place?

Still have the standard axles and cv's in place.

I broke my first rear axle about 3 months ago, Luckily I had a spare with me and was able to fix it, but havent bothered about upgrading yet.

It is definately on my list of things to do get one day.

I think having 4.11 gear ratios, good long travel suspension and also using the lockers even when not required helps alot.

This combination means not lifting many wheels, and stops excessive wheelspin. Plus the 300tdi doesnt have bucket loads of power!

It has been set up correctly all round and should perform very well for you.
I have finished mine at this stage with a full guard cut, 2 inch body lift,
2 inch suspension lift, heavy duty front king springs to cater for extra weight of TDi.
Rear Hi Tuff Axles, rear ARB Locker, Front maxi drive locker with all heavy duty stuff.
Dual batteries, snorkel, custom sliders, through exhaust,
33' Silverstone Mudders with Dynamic offsets,
ARB bully (Yada Yada)

Spent plenty, but the Gumboot is really doing the job.
Next 35's with 4.11's, heavy duty traling arms and heavy duty steering arm.
