Thread: removing passenger airbag - is there a hole?

Seems to me like miscommunication has entered the room.

One guy asks about removing airbags.

People answer: yes, no, maybe, dunno.

And then they ask: Why? Have you considered the legalities? Air bags are dangerous to remove, and again, why?

And most people seem to be wondering in what situation you would want the airbags not to work, and to paraphrase one response - Isn't off-road driving the situation in which you most want the airbags to be doing their job?

I don't think any offence was intended in the questions.
