Only if you get it crossed up which is not likely on the bitumen.

    Loanrangie,
did you have to do the camel cut to fit these tyres, or no mods at all.

Check out this thread about camel cut and tyres sizes for the D1.

    http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery/...ight=camel+cut

It's not exactly for 265's but gives a lot of good advice on general sizes, scrubbing and the camel cut.

    Thanks Loanrangie.

PS was there any other adjustments, ie steering stops or was every thing else OK with the 265's

    Nick,
just fitted some bfg 265/75,s & they seam 2 tuck up OK under the gaurds, although I had 2 bend the wings on my ARB bullbar inward. I have a 2" spring lift & the camel cut so its not 2 bad. The thing thats driving me nuts is the loss of turning circle which is terrible. The radius arms cop a beating on most roundabouts so I know I,ll go crazy in the bush. Do u have offset rims? they look standard in the pic.
    Cheers Dean.

Usually the thing i have heard is to fit bigger than 245 properly is that you need to get offset rims and do a 2 inch body lift so that the tyre wont rub on the top of the wheel arch when it is fully flexed up into the body...

as you can see in this pic on my car...

they are only 245's and they only just miss...
