    Hi DD

D1 or D2? Lift or no lift?

I am running 265/70x16's (approx equivalent to 31") with no problems at all, but do have a 2" sus lift (D2). From memory I think I put them on before the lift and don't recall having an issue then either...

    Cheers

Well 265/70R16 is about the same diameter as 245/75R16.

So to fit the 245/75R16 using factory rims you only need to trim the folded under edge of the rear bottom of the rear guard. However as the 265s are wider you might need to cut more as the 245s only just tuck into the guard.

You would also need to wind your steering stops out a bit more. I just wound mine back in. Thought it was about time since the 255s came off about 18 months ago at least. Makes a huge difference. I set them back to 40mm as per RAVE. Didn't bother putting the front on stands to check the other measurement (tyre no closer than 20mm to panhard rod).
I can do a u turn in my street now without a 3 point turn or jumping the gutter

    Matt,
    check the market place.
Any bigger than these & u may have 2 consider changing gearing as well as cutting & sus mods.
    Cheers Dean.

    Matt,
if you`re gunna swap tyres back & forth forget about the steering stops & retain your turning circle. It`ll only be the odd turn in the bush that`ll require 1 more swing.
    Cheers Dean.

    Very easy.
It is just a bolt into a threaded hole with a lock nut.

I think they will be a bit big with standard suspension.
I ran 245/75r16 on my 95 disco with standard suspension and they scrubbed off road.I think they are about the same diameter as the 265/70r16.

    Solution 2" Lift
