    Is an air tank worthwhile ?

    Interesting design Mark. Ill be doing mine the way I did the old RRC of mine. Basically box section UNDER the sill itself, with two plates running up either side of the sill (also acts like a crush protector so wont crush stills when tighening). Then add the side rails like you did for lower door protection.

    With your type of driving (if stunting is anything to go by) you should have gone full on rock sliders

    Mark , what did you end up using , 75mm x 50 mm RHS ? was it 3mm plate or 4mm plate you used for the top part ?

    Used 505 x 50 on mine, but the other sets were 75 x 50 and 3mm plate. Also gave the 75mm ones a curve to follow the doors, mine were simple.
