    fortunately there's plenty of Jap imports with fully sick Pod filters and milo-exhausts to keep the defect-police busy

    No disappointment here already aware im illegal... my exhaust has no muffler so add that to the list ... But i want it too look as legal as possible as to not attract attention too much... and as stated the rice burners getting around certainly help us travel under the radar they don't seem to interested in a white Land Rover Discovery

    Dan,

    to Fit 35" inch Tyres to a D1 , you need to;

    1) Cut guards and fit flares
    2) body lift your D1 2.5 " inches ( LRA "white Tiger" lift kit will do )
    3) Fit your tyres to 1" offset Rims to regain the Steering lock
    4) If you have a ARB bull bar , you need to modify and lift it , otherwise your body lift will look absolutely hideous,and your Bull bar will be covering your headlights.
    5) may need to modify your Gear lever and transfer case levers
    6) steering arms needs to be extended ( the spacers are included in the lift kit )
    7) rear bar needs modifying....etc
