Mechanical fuel pump, getting full throtle.
I'm having a look at it Sat. arvo with him, we'll see what we can find.
When it plays up there is no pulling power, if it was a truck I'd sweer the turbo had died.
Start at snorkel head and work our way to the exhaust tip, must be in the middle some where
Cheers.
Not sure if you've seen what's going on with my gearbox but I took it to consumer affairs and suddenly attitudes changed that I think is your best option and if they can't sort it they will send it to consumer tribunal
Have you checked the plastic tube from the turbo to the side of the fuel injector pump. If this is split and leaking air you will not meter the fuel correctly when on turbo boost. (Read this on another thread here a few minutes ago and just checked the plumbing location on mine).

Checked the basics today, tested all the plastic tubes also.
Whilst idleing you could hear the motor pick up around 150rpm and it sounded smother.
Checked the diapram under the 4 bolts and all seamed fine.
Electric shut off working fine too.
I'll look at the rave this week to see what inside the pumps, any outher links guys?
Cheers.
Is something like this what you're after:
