I was lucky that the previous owner had cut the guards to fit the 35's so I just needed to screw them on. There was a bit of fiddling and trimming around the custom rear bar but alls good.

When I fitted the LRA flares to my 2 door rangie, we just used an angle grinder with a thin blade and it worked a treat, well Stooge had that under control

I got the passengers side on this afternoon, knocked off a bit early, so she's all done now. Only took about 2hrs all up, but longer if you had to cut the guards obviously, plus mine is a 2 door so I didnt have to mess around with back doors.

Nibblers suck for the job, I bought one years ago, for just that purpose, now I soley use a 1mm cutting disc on the grinder

Same here, 1mm cutting disk on a grinder. The secret is go slowly, dont cut the panel in one hit, but rather go over the same cut area many times until it finally goes through.

    Bumping this thread up
do you know if they do these flares for a Disco 2 ?
don't want to go out and pay 779$ from LRA which seems outrageous, let alone pay 169$ to get them sent to WA which is a blatant insult

Pretty sure they use the same flares for D1/D2 .

Actually, Devon 4x4 have specific flares for D2 http://www.devon4x4.com/index.php?pa...mart&Itemid=14
