    Glad youre going again.

What brand did you get? I'm going to change mine as its been there at least 3yrs and as its the one that came with the car, I've no idea how old it is.

She got an absorbed power AGM battery, bloody expensive but we,ve been using them on the trawler and they are great, not sure what size but it was bigger than the reccommended 1 for the D2.

I chose that as we are doing the Canning stock rt in the mid year and I wanted a good battery..Im not at home so I cant tell you the size, numbers or any details.

    Cheers Ean

I use a Delkor 31-900 as a direct replacement for the Delphi factory one in the D2 V8 and Td5, and Defender Td5

Should be around the $250 to $270 mark.

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

You are lucky it went now, I did 2 batteries on the CSR, in fact between 4 vehicles we managed to ruin 6 batteries.

    Gday Shaker,
I was going to put 2 new batteries in for the trip anyway, just a pain it happened whilst Im at sea,,anyway SWMBO has become a good L/R mechanic in that time so she got thru..was more surprised at how the dash never lit up or anything when the battery still had some voltage left in it..

    Cheers Ean
