OK official price is $US389 and about $US200 for delivery.

Tom Woods uses the 1310 shaft which any tail shaft co can fit over here for much less..

    Baz.
Did they cut the ends off Baz? The standard shafts are 1300 unis, the 1310 sized uni joints wont fit into the standard yolks.

Tom will make them with 1330 or 1350 uni joints also if you want. The 1350 will probably break the transfer case first based on what I've been reading based on their use in V8 rockcrawlers that use the LT230 transfer case and non-rover axles. It is a heavy joint.

My experiences are that the additional cost for shipping extra shafts from Tom is nowhere near as expensive as 1 shaft.
    Cheers

I got an exchange from rovertech that was fixed by engineering shop DSA (Cannington I think). They bore out the holes to fit a uni with bigger roller bearings. From memory about $350.

I just bought 2 x Hardie Spicer unis as the dif end of my shaft is already gresable from the local bearing guy. he looked them up in his book with a 1310 as the standard fit.

I'll let you know how they fit.

    Cheers

d2 is 1300 series. 27mm cap 74mm across the cross (cap to cap) and center to center of the DC joint is 72mm.
the 1310 series is 27mm cap 82mm across the cross and 68mm center to center.

hardie spicer cat even says 1300 is for LR
1310 is for musso and jeep
1350 was used in the perentie.
