Picked up my XROX yesterday and winch.

Should have it fitted before christmas.

There was no compliance sticker in the box but I went back to OL this mornign to get the offset fairlead and they had spare stickers there.

Building a new bash plate and having it and the recovery points powder coated before I fit it all up.

Picked up mine today. Hopefully will have it fitted by tomorrow. Actually it already is, but such painful little items such as re-routing the antenna etc, are holding up completion. For anyone who has read the instructions and thought WTF, which bolt, you have my sympathy.

    cheers

    All done.

Still puzzled by the 4 rough cut 30mm washers. It said to use them on the crush can mounts, but why, and where exactly?

Anyhoo, mounted up ok, chucked the old cheapy lights up top (not entirely convinced about this at the mo), with new ones coming.

    cheers

    Nick,

Looks good, same colour as my D2 although I have big flares and a guard cut plus the lift.

Here is my XROX centre section ready to go on, just need to get the new bash plate mounts done and recovery points galvanised this week and painted with chassis black and then fit it up.

It will also have a 20" light bar in the centre and LED floods in the wings. Winch box will go under the bonnet.

Thats looks good Nick ... ah, the lights up there are a bit .... ????

I like these bars, but they don't accomodate the D2a fog lights, and I don't want to loose them as they are needed/get used.

Yeah the lights are a bit ??? I have a plan for new ones in the normal spot, and couldn't be bothered with the thought of moving these again. Will wait and see wether i keep or throw them.

I never had the factory fog lamps, so no loss, however these bars do have mounts for fog lamps in the wings which is cool as it gives me another option that i didn't have previously.

    cheers

Will get a photo when I can, but essentially it is a tab, the same as the top light mounts, but situated on the bottom upswept bar on the wing. There is a photo in 999's post on his bar fitting, page11 of this thread I think. It shows the tab, and JEZAOL's post a couple of pages back of his finished truck has fog lamps mounted.

    cheers
