D2....D2a....pretty sure they were both for mum's to pick up the kids, if you wanted something for the bush you bought, county/defender, if you wanted to go bush in luxury, you bought a rangie, if the missus needed a new car

    You bought her a Discovery

A poll that doesn't offer an option to vote no is not a useful poll.

Have had both, the a is the better by far& it's not just headlights....

    But a separate section,i don't think so........

Then why not split up the D4 from the RRS & the D3,or TD5 deefer from Puma etc etc etc

We don't wanna stress out the server too much,or Inc for that matter.

    Steve

your average troll in the Soapbox would net you 8 pages at least. This is a 5 pager at the most, maybe less as soon as posters realise they shouldn't be taking it seriously.

In summary, not your best work.

    cheers

    seriously.

After some reflection I have changed my mind and think we should have a D2a section and Steve should be one of the mods ...in fact I think all D2a owners should be given the status as Mods as we are obviously superior to the average D2 owner.

    cheers,
    Terry

D2a own section.....hmmm....You would think a vehicle of that quality, would have no problems!!

However from this thread nearly all..or is that both the D2a owners....have cried that they need a separate section...Glad my D2 is not that problematic!!!

Praise be to the D2a!!! We are not worthy!!!

My mate and i bought our manual v8's from the same place 6 months apart. Mine d2 his d2a. He has had clutch problems, and his engine has just failed and he needs to spend up big time to get a new one. Mine has another 50k on it and has been worked A lot harder offroad and on towing a 2 tonn boat. Does that mean thE d2a is a less reliBle vehicle - no becUse he wasn't as anal with services and the oil he used but it sure isn't a better vehicle and mine has alwAys been a little nicer to be inside of too for some reason and they are both base models - we can't work out why.

Sure bugger off and have a new section and miss out on a heap of help for what is (despite the bull**** marketing hype) exactly the same vehicle. I know the poll was done tongue in cheek for a laugh but I suspect there was 10 % wish there too... Cheers
