    Question Diesel fuel leak from diesel fuel cooler

    I seem to have a diesel fuel leak from around the diesel fuel cooler on the TD5. I can't see exactly where it is leaking from though, just the signs of it, i.e. the firewall is coated in diesel and there seems to be a trail of diesel along the fuel line. Any ideas? Is it common for these to leak at the fuel connections or anything like that?

    its most likely the orings on the fuel cooler, bout 2 hours to replace and a search of aulro should bring up a thread with the appropriate part numbers

    Arn't the o-rings to keep the coolant in (this is what I'm seeing from reading other threads on here)? So if they were gone it would be leaking coolant? In my case it's diesel leaking.

    Yep, probably from the fuel pressure regulator.

    Could be the o-rings in there, or the diaphragm leaking.
