More surge than spike most times I agree Pinelli
The srs light never came back on after the battery terminal clean
The coil pack and alternator replacement happened at least 1 month later, well after srs light had gone
And no srs light since any of the above
Could it possibly be a combination of partly failed rectifier in alternator feeding AC current through the corroded battery terminal? Or partly failed rectifier causing voltage regulator failure when not clamped to battery?
GAWD - just keep those terminals clean!
