I dont have a Discovery TD5 with a VNT but I have just fitted one to a Defender TD5.
The vehicle already had a stage 2 map and an Allisport Intercooler so I never really had a performance issue.
My issue was more with myself being an intrinsically lazy driver and being use to driving larger more powerful vehicles.
I simply am not use to changing gears all the time and use to get caught pulling out of roundabouts in the wrong gear, the result was the TD5 bogged down until the turbo boosted an it took off.
If I drove only the Defender for a week my driving style adjusted and it was all OK.
I got Pete Bell to send me the VNT and Boost box and it was the best thing I ever did now the TD5 will pull away in 5th gear at 50 kmh without delay (not at all good for the gearbox)
Put simply it flies I still need to change my mapping to suit the VNT but I have had map writing issues that have prevented this.
Well worth the expense in my opinion
