That was something I had thought of but wasn't too sure the symptoms fit.
That might make good sense as it's quite noticeable on acceleration from a standing start.
Assuming that it is a broken bolt, that means it needs to come out which means expensive workshop time
Do I need to do the whole de-web and enlarged bolt holes, as it's not chipped and not likely to be as my insurance premium is going to be high enough for the next 6 years

    Talking NOISE WHINE

If it is the exaust manifold bolts the manifold will probably warped The best bet would be to do the exchange and replace all the studs--I bought the studs from England and bought nuts to suit--handed that to the LR mechanic---then picked the car up later!!!! the previous time it happened I was told that they replaced the broken studs and all is fixed--6 months later--same again!! So get to know your LR mechanic and talk him through what you need and expect

Checked the manifold today, all looks okay. No sign of soot anywhere.
Also had a closer look at the hubs, they look brand spankers.
Although the staked nuts are hardly what I'd call staked. Mildly dented perhaps.
