    sealant for turbo oil pipe?

I recently had to replace the turbo on my TD5. Everything was great for a couple of weeks, then the oil pipe from the bottom of the turbo (oil return?) started leaking. What sealant should I use between the turbo & the oil pipe? The thin metal gasket is in place but appears to not be doing its job.
    TIA

I have seen this Umpteen times. Undo and remove the pipe completely from the vehicle and check it is actually straight at the flange. I have refaced heaps of them on emery paper and a flat surface. They warp VERY easily as they are very thin. Just the simple act of reassembly can do this, and sealant won't help if there is a gap

Don't worry it isn't all that uncommon.

does this still hold true given that it sealed fine for a couple of weeks/1500km and then started leaking?

maybe, maybe not. still worth checking it is flat before undoing it etc and fitting another gasket.
