Can you provide some more information? Is it cranking? Clicking when trying to start? Tried the inertia switch? Could be rfi issue. Or try locking and unlocking the car. Not joking. I couldn't start it once and did this to get it going
Etc
Yesterday I reported a case of no throttle intermittently.
Today I have no start at all.
12.3 volts in the battery but the strange thing is that my battery charger is refusing to put any charge into the battery.
I had left the ignition on by mistake for about an hour this morning.
It is a TD5 auto 1999
WHERE do I find the TPS gismo? and what do I look for in the way of faults.
I have pulled my ECU and have no oil there.
Could it be the XYZ switch?
No faults on Nanocom except the usual shuttle valve switch thingo that has been there all the time I have owned this car.
Thoughts on the matter are very much welcomed.
Regards Nick

As Bsperka said, try lock/unlock. I have had weird issues like that before, and have sat in the seat with the doors shut, locked, waited 15 seconds, unlocked, problem gone.

Tried what you said Winaja but it just made my day even worse.
When I went to lock it the remote would not work, now that is a new one,.
I locked with the key waited thirty seconds and the tried the remote ,.... nothing. Unlocked with the key and all hell broke loose! beep beep beep etc. Had to re-lock again and slunk back into the house.
When I turn the key to start I get NOTHING no sound at all DEAD. However everything else seems to work lights dash display etc. even get gear shift lights on the gear stick.
I'd check the battery in the key. I don't think that can break anything...Also, if you turn the key and hold at start position for about 5 seconds, does anything happen? I had exactly this issue about a year ago when I was in a caravan park; a guy on the next site had a TPMS that worked on the same frequency as the security system. The D2 interprets it as a hack attempt and causes all sorts of fun.
Replace the battery in the key, then check for start after holding the key. Possible that someone has installed a new device in your area.
Hope to not send you slinking back to the house again.....
Regards, Will

Current experience with mine:-
Symptoms:-
No start at all.
All dash lights come on when the key is turned to start.
Car battery fully charged.
No clicking sounds (assuming therefore not the starter).
No start only occurs when the dash security light (red light at the lower part of the dash between speed and tacho) starts flashing. This occurs typically when you unlock the car and then load it with items and the allowed time between unlocking and starting has elapsed.
Remedy (possibly short term):-
To overcome this I just press the unlock button on the fob and the car starts. (I also have a spare for when this fails)
Possible causes of the issue could be either the battery in the fob or the transponder is failing.
Regards
Andrew
have changed the fob battery all I have is the two hazard lights and relays thumping away.
Don't even have the horns going any more.
What 2 hazards are flashing, are you referring to the indicator hazards flashing out side ? this is usually a result of a inertia switch being tripped. It will cut off fuel and unlock doors and make hazard lights flash, it u
sually prevents the vehicle starting as no fuel is being pumped.
Or are you referring to some warning lights coming on in the dash?
Roverlord, I have tried pushing the top of the inertia switch but it does not do anything. The out side indicators flash quickly as do the two green arrow lights on the dash. It sounds like you may be on to something here though. I will let you know tomorrow.
Regards Nick.
No luck but I do now have M&S lights flashing on the dash as well .
Lucky me!
