    Water (and vapour) can be sucked back into an "open to atmosphere" system.. Even running a filter...

    Amongst other things...

    I put a oil catch can on my td5 and with in a week I had oil leeks every where so i will not be putting anything like that on again

    If fitting a catch can causes your engine to leak, then that's indicative of a much greater problem
