    CDL install

    Hi all,
I've recently joined the gang and purchased a 2002 TD5. However it is without the internals for centre diff lock.
What would be the most economical way of getting it installed? is it feasible to get the internals for it or just swap in a transfer case with the CDL then add the linkage?
    Thanks in advance.

You don't need the whole transfer case just the front output from an enabled case. For my 2002 model I got the output and lever off an 03 facelift model and had it fitted.

    CDL Install

    Mr Neuron
first of all if it's a 2002 model the gears are probably already there,
look at the foto i've posted here and you will see where to look for the spigot that the lever goes onto.
a mirror and a light comes in handy here as its above and just inside of the front drive shaft.
the other parts in the foto are ones i've made myself using a seat actuater which works quite well.it will be sealed up before going back in with a leather sock filled with Sikaflex Black marine sealant.only 2 wires down to the motor and the rest under the console near the high/low shifter.
hopes this helps, and there is heaps of room down there for your own inventions if you don't like paying large sums for a L/R lever Kit.
    cheers
    Paul
