Smile Hooray the part is here!!

    Hi all

Well the part turned up on the Greyhound bus as promised , then I played on the dirt under the Disco and proceeded to bolt it in.
The non genuine part has Greece points and looks as strong if not better than original.

Went in easy enough but because it wasn't off the ground a bit fiddly to do up.
So off we go tommorow and I will be listening nervously all the way.

Will try to get it up on hoist in Katherine and retention all bolts besides it needs an oil change anyway which I was ready to do as filters and belts are all I brought with me, wasn't expecting the later to happen.

Special mention to Terry at Sutton's who was true to his word and didnt try to rip me off!

If you want to do your oil change yourself. You can use my driveway. I'm off work for 6 days from Friday.

    Happy Days.

Maybe we should have a Darwin get together on Saturday night?

    Yorkie, me, Joel, Keato, Ean?

I'm in CBD and have no wheels so I'll suggest the wharf for a few drinks? Or somewhere on waterfront or in town?

Hey Keato what actually let go in the shaft? Doesn't look like it's the uni that went

Sounds promising, I should get a leave pass.

The rear uni bearings all decided to leave at the same time!

After last night, I might be lucky. I was designated driver for a couple of mate who are up from down south for work.

If we choose a family place I'd be better off.

    Happy Days

How about somewhere on the waterfront next to the park? Plenty of room for kids to run around. Basically I'm easy with anywhere around town or I'll get a cab nearby if you know / prefer anywhere else.

From tonight I'm going to be offline until mid arvo tomorrow, so maybe touch base with Yorkie and I'll see you and whoever else comes along there?

Mine started to clunk - then I had a close look at it was nearly coming apart. Had a local drive shaft place rebuild for me. I always inspected the driveshaft during my routine oil changes. It looked fine during the last inspection before it started falling apart.
