    Modulator Bypass Td5

    Hi folks.
When bypassing the boost modulator, do you leave the modulator plugged in at the electrical connection, or do you unplug it?

I have left mine plugged in but I doubt it really matters.

I disconnected the electrical connection and completely removed mine. Does mean that an error registers on the Nanocom.

IMO the management is mixed up this way and you loose power and torque "downgrading" to defender spec., the D2 management and maps in the ECM are conceived with the modulator included and in working order

    I know this....
My Modulator is FUBAR, along with my MAF.
So they're both being ignored for the time being

sorry, i thought you want to get rid of it completely.... did you check fuse F2 in engine bay cos this one is for both MAF and wastegate modulator (and EGR modulator too if still fitted)... IMO any of these modulators is better to be unplugged as long as the MAF is in working order(not your case now) cos they can go to short circuit and blow F2 then even if the MAF is good it doesnt work
