When bypassing the boost modulator, do you leave the modulator plugged in at the electrical connection, or do you unplug it?

IMO the management is mixed up this way and you loose power and torque "downgrading" to defender spec., the D2 management and maps in the ECM are conceived with the modulator included and in working orderOriginally Posted by http://www.web-rover.co.uk/

sorry, i thought you want to get rid of it completely.... did you check fuse F2 in engine bay cos this one is for both MAF and wastegate modulator (and EGR modulator too if still fitted)... IMO any of these modulators is better to be unplugged as long as the MAF is in working order(not your case now) cos they can go to short circuit and blow F2 then even if the MAF is good it doesnt work
