    Madman EMS location.

    Hi folks.
Am looking at getting a Madman EMS but am a bit unsure about where to put it!
Can those of you who have them describe where you've put it and if possible stick some pics up?
I know the easiest would be to put it in a dash pod but I'd rather not do that....ever....
    Cheers

Mine has a small piece of Velcro type material on the bottom edge of the unit, ie. the flat part. That is then 100% non-permanently mounted to the dash mat on the right of the instrument cluster binnacle.

If I was seeking to mount it permanently I'd probably go for RHS ashtray. The obvious downside to that is that the driver needs to move their head to view it. Where I have mine I don't need to move my head (or move position of hands on the wheel).

I looked hard to find some sort of ring mount (plastic or metal ring with a foot for mounting to the dash or even the A pillar. I bought two but neither of them was the right size despite painstaking efforts to size them up before online purchasing.

    Best of luck.

There is also a single pod setup available for the EMS2 ( MadMan - EMS Mounting Options ). I have seen these used and mounted on the right side of the instrument cluster in that space there - it's a neat location.

I like that pod is it the long one or short one assuming it's a mud pod.

Is your audio able to push back where it should or does the cables from the pod exclude that option?

I have my tm4 stewed under the ashtray. Left knee hits it occasionally I might go the mud pod if I can make it neat. I'd like an EGT and mount for a cB controls
