That will be massively appreciated, thanks mate.

I'm on night shift so I'll sleep most of tomorrow but I want to get up in the afternoon and try and get it back together. I posted before, I took the whole intake manifold off to get in there to do a proper job of the regulator so I have a few parts out of the engine bay at the moment.

I got the brakes bled this afternoon after a complete 4 caliper rebuild, 4 new rotors and pads all around.

    Happy Days.

    Yep, Thanks mate.

I have been to Repco and a bearing place but they both only sold Nitrate. I thought it would do but I can't get the right size.

Once I have the size, I'll go to a Deisel mob up here to see if they have Viton.

    Happy Days

Just been reading through this thread and trying to understand it. If using the Bosch regulator do you need to replace the green "O" rings before fitting? or is it all good to go as purchased. The "O" rings being mentioned are they only for the fuel line?... I haven't had to do my FPR yet but sure it will need doing at some point.

The o'rings on the Bosch regulator are already Viton - hence my other posts stating that colour is not always a guide to oring material.

What have I done wrong? A couple of days after purchasing a new bosch regulator insert a mate conviently turned up with a leaking regulator,so I offered to fix it.When trying to fit the new insert it would not go in being too tight. I lubricated the o rings with a film of oil and put some rag over the top and pushed it down on the concrete with a fair bit of force. Still no good so I wacked it down and in it went, refitted it and it ****ed fuel out passed the circlip, removed it and it all looks ok. Any ideas.

Mine was tight but a little rubber grease and a wiggle and it went in.

I have just discovered I fitted the wrong gasket,. falsely thinking the two pipe one had one type and the 3 pipe the new one. I hope it only looked like it was coming from the circlip and was coming from around the gasket. I'll refit it and see.

Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure they are the same gasket. Just an extra "O" ring and a different housing. Same gasket.

ALL fixed. My stuped fault,It's a 2000 model with only 2 fuel pipes,I thought they used the old gasket--they don't.The insert went in easy this time so something could have been amiss there. Anywhey all good

Thought I would post this question here as its sort of related..... Is it possible to buy the hoses that come off the regulator and if so does anyone have a supplier and part numbers? I have searched but come up with zero.
