The guy at the tyre place wasn't game to try and squeeze 265/70 r16 on the rear door mount... Another project to do.

My pre reading says it fits... just. Anyone have advice?
Depends on tyre. I managed to make 265/70/17 Scorpion work but it was an inteference fit on the rear bar....so 75 is out without a bracket reversal

Don't flip and drill - you'll end up with cracked studs... extra hinge wear and worse rear vision.
Drill 6 holes and raise the carrier.

						SubscriberNo, your not the exception, I would have done at least 10 of them like that , none of them spend all their time on the bitumen and no cracks ( not sure how you crack a stud ) no extra hinge wear over the years on the 6 or so that I still see
