Found half the dirt in the Pilbara (Locality of Gary's formative early years) hiding under there. Original fuel pump going strong at 226k kms.
I fought the internal battle of "if it aint broke don't fix it," versus, "prevention is the best cure" and gave the cavity and electrical plug a good clean out. Hopefully my paranoia and preparation for having to replace it someday will mean it lasts another 200 000 km.
Boggled by the amount of wasted space behind the side trims in the cargo area. Especially once the seatbelt go. Going to try pick up some spares from a wreck and have a cut and redesign experiment.
