Bugger.
One of the tilt tray drivers in the Territory I rode shotgun with said he called his tilt tray a 'Disco recovery vehicle'.
I saw him the next day going the other way with another D2 on it's back after he dragged me back to Erldunda.
Surprisingly he couldn't recall ever picking up a Deefer.
Go figure ?

BTW I haven't got to the cooler hoses yet, and Strangy warned me about them when he found out I was picking up the D2.
It has to go to the smash repairs first. First car in twenty years I've had a bingle in.
At least I'll get a proper bull bar on it now instead of the OE tubular nudge bar with wings.

Old mate was chatting to me.

'No, that would be the blue one. Same problem. Same place it happened. I bought this one about 3 weeks ago.'
