Took mine on a dirt track and got both m & s lights + D flashing, limp mode till I switched it off(which I wasn't game to do in the middle of nowhere)...
because of the very random wont start issue. Starting to think this car wasn't such a bargain, it's a v8 2004 model with 210K on it I paid 6k for. so far we've done plug leads, plugs and coil packs as it was missing badly, now I am loosing coolant, suspecting the crank sensor is on its way, changed the o2 sensor but I suspect I have wiring issues behind the heads as I still have the fault codes after cleaning the connections to the best of my ability. I'm guessing oil and filter for the m/s/d issue.
So I guess its major service time...new head gasket to fix the water leak and find the wiring faults with the o2 sensors, new crank sensor, oil and gaskets for the auto, rebuild the xyz switch while I'm there, and may as well do the timing cover seals, maybe then i'll get another 12 months out of it....did I mention the slow leak in the drivers air bag, 63 dollar horn buttons or the labour intensive door latches or the randomly jamming ignition lock?
Lucky it has 7 seats and I love it

Fitted an ABR Sidewinder dual battery switch and Anderson plug to charge the camper trailer.... only shorted the spanner once. I know what I am doing, i don't need to disconnect the battery earth...What happened to your Discovery 2 today?. When finished the Multi-meter said the electrons were flowing in the correct direction.

Maybe he is doing some mud play or prefers to go offroading instead of tarmac driving?

Well if you are going to get stuck, closer to home the better. Hope it wasn't too much trouble to get it out

Finished the brake refurbishment. Fitted off the new flexi hoses and Goodridge stainless extended brake hoses, new fluid and bled using the Nanocom. Lovely having the right tools.

Definitely need a Nanocom if it can bleed the brakes and the ACE systems.
Can it isolate the battery?... see my last postWhat happened to your Discovery 2 today?
