    Main beam fail

I noticed last night that the LHS main beam has failed. I've checked the fuse, the fuse looks good and I replaced the fuse just in case, still no light.
I've checked the Owners Manual and it seems easy enough to replace the globe. Remove the grill, undo three screws pull the light forwards a bit, remove multi plug, fully remove headlight unit. Ah, except that the head light hits the bull bar.
I had a look on you tube, nothing about manipulating a D2a headlight past a bull bar, I didn't google it, I went to https://duckduckgo.com/ again nothing, and no Dummies Guide to manipulating a D2a headlight past a bull bar.
I'm hoping that I can undo the bolts and maybe get enough wiggle room to get the head light out, with removing the (very heavy looking) bull bar.

    Cheers

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.

fitted an isolator switch to the main relay box

when the car was not going to be driven for a while parked in my garage I use to disconnect batts

up to now it works great and because my car radio is independent I don't loose any radio stations

there is a flip side alarm system wont work but what the heck how would it work when the batts are disconnected any ways

Drove down my long corrugated driveway locking and unlocking to free my stuck rear door, it worked a treat!
