Thread: What happened to your Discovery 2 today?

Started fitting up some improved speakers to the system front and rear. Rears were no problem and the tweeters went into the factory positions after the correct holes made. The front woofers fitted up OK, but the pillar tweeters needed some mods to the original system which involved some cutting and superglue, but as the pics show a very nice factory finish.

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.

There are various programs that stop tracking and adverts, adblock gets rid of most ads, some tech gurus should be able to recommend some for you.

Today I pulled apart the tailgate, removed the lock that won't unlock. Cleaned it up, lubed with graphite powder, cycled it through, reinstalled it and? still doesn't unlock. My rear doors have failed too so I'm going to grab some new locks.

Unhappy what my D2 did today !

my nice shiny D2 decided that Diesel was so well priced in Adelaide that I didn't need it returned to the FPR so it squirted it out all over the engine bay and along the road on the way home from work.

Finally RPM, the approved RACV repair shop put the TD5 badge on. Only waitibg since March. They had trouble finding one. I emailed them the reply I got from MLR, including part number!
