That Allisport unit or Genuine only. The aftermarket ones fail in short order.

Never had a problem with the genuine plastic units - as I said just avoid the non-genuine.

New, (to me and the beast) factory LR "Nudge" bar, LED Light bar, Antenna and bonnet protector fitted...
Next step is to replace foglights with something similar to the Stedi led types...

Well Tombie, I used to only recommend Genuine Tanks until i sold one to my brother in law a month ago and it started to leak at the front top folds, at nearly $400 I now give up on expansion tanks, I did some research and there have been a few claims on genuine ones. So I'm not selling any aftermarket or genuines at the moment. looks like the alloy oners might be the go, but try telling the punters who baulk at spending a lot on their D2s that, when they are in the $50 mind set and they need to spend 10 times that.

Not much beats well TIG'd alluminium for this application.
